DINDIGUL: Organic farming with biodiversity must be promoted and should be provided with easy access to credit and marketing. The Seed Act 2005 and Special Economic Zone Act 2005 must be repealed with immediate effect and research of all genetically modified crops must be banned. The community control over water, land and other natural resources should be ensured. Similarly, privatisation of health, education and transport sectors should be stopped immediately. These appeals were made through a set of resolutions adopted at a State-level conference of Social Action Movement held here on Thursday. Peoples
