Protest by Greenpeace at a Gujarat shipbreaking yard

Activists of the environmnetal group Greenpeace painted warning signs on a Greek vessel at the world's largest shipbreaking yard on Wednesday, protesting the dangers of hazardous waste from discarded Western ships. Inflatable boats carried banners highlightiang the dangers to workes from ships brought for dismantling to Alang in Gujarat as activists pained warnings on the hull of the vessel Global Sao Paolo, a Greenpeace statement said.
