The Cheyyur Super Thermal Power Project, which has become a subject of controversy in respect of its location, is coming up for a public hearing next month. The hearing to be conducted by a panle essentially consisting o the field officials of the Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) and the district administration, will be held at the Kancheepuram Collectorate on July 14.
