A new study raises questions about the effectiveness of hormone supplements that contain estrogen in warding of heart trouble in older women. The study involved older women who already had heart disease, and its authors and other experts stressed that the findings, should not be assumed to apply to healthy women. The study was conducted by Stephen Hulley of the University of California.
