Massive leakage of coolant water at a Japanese nuclear power plant caused radiation leak 11,500 times over the safety limit, the company operating it said on Thursday. The extent of the leakage is much higher than the originally estimated levels of 250 times above the limit, but no radioactivity escaped into the environment, the Japan Atomic Power Company said in Tokyo.
