In an attempt to encourage integrated growth of agriculture, the Rajasthan Government has decided to develop one village each in the panchayat samitis across the State as "model village" where the combined work on farming, land conservation, seed development, forestry, and water and power supply will be taken up. The Government departments will select the villages in their respective areas and launch work to develop them in a coordinated manner.
