The Rajasthan Government has decided not to disconnect any electricity connection to farmers for non-payment of electricity bills till the end of the crop season. This was announced by the Power Minister, Dr Chandrabhan, during question hour on the opening day of the Budget Session of the Legislative Assembly, amidst large scale complaints from the Opposition against indiscriminate disconnection by the State Elctricity Board.
