Rajasthan switches fuel option for power plant

The high cost of electricity produced by the naptha-based dabhol power project in Maharashtra seems to have prompted the Rajasthan Government to go for the liquefied natural gas (LNG) instead of naphtha for setting up the much-awaited 140 MW Mathania power project in Jodhpur district.
