The New Congress Government in Rajasthan has sanctioned Rs 100 crore to purchase more electricity from the neighbouring states to be utilised for cultivation of rabi crop till March 99. The state government will strike a balance between the private sector and the State Electricity Board (SEB), in planning future power projects.
