After lying low for some time, rustic inventor Ponniah Ramar Pillai resurfaced in Kochi today with his mystical herbal fuel and once again failed to convince the scientific community about his ingenuity. Though Ramar succeeded in preparing a "combustible concotion" by mixing a chemical combination with hot water and his herbs, chemists and experts present at the Bharat Hotel auditorium refused to attest to the product as an equivalent of petrol or any other petroleum product.
