The Union power minister today ruled out accepting the demands made by Cogentrix Energy to enable the US power major to review its decision to pull out of the 1,000 MW Mangalore power projects. Mr P R Kumaramangalam told reporters late this evening that the Centre's counter guarantee to Cogentrix would cover its foreign debt only. The question of giving revenue cover did not arise.
