The Government will be setting up regulators for the transport , mining and petroleum sectors soon. This was stated by the Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Mr Prithviraj Chavan. Speaking at the 8th International Stainless Steel Conference, Mr Chavan said, "Good governance is one of the three main pillars of the present Government and for that, sectors that are not yet regulated at the macro-level need to be regulated. There would be regulators for the mining, petroleum and the transport sectors soon." The other two pillars of the present Government, Mr Chavan said, are rural orientation and infrastructure.
