The Ambanis do not believe in doing things by halves. Reliance Petroleum has submitted to the government a plan that is breathtaking in its sweep and scope: a pipeline network covering 3,000 km and cutting across seven states. RPL proposes to construct a network of pipelines which will carry its products--mainly petrol, diesel, kerosene, naphtha and LPG-from its refinery at Jamnagar in Gujarat all the way to Hyderabad . The pipelines will pass through Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh.
