It is a dream come true for the tribals of the highland sof Sachh, Tai-Sural and Mindle villages in the Pangi valley of Chamba districts. Considered as one of the remote habitations in the country, the people here now have the luxury of electricity for the first time in their lives. Forced to live in darkness until the installation of 12 unique portable micro hydro-electric generators, the tribal folk are now enjoying the pleasure of well-lit nights.
