The Union Minister for Power and Non-Conventional Energy Sources, Mr R Kumaramangalam, today emphasised that renewable sources would be the chief source of power in the next century. He was speaking at the inaugural session of the two-day meeting of the secretaries of state nodal departments and chief executives of state nodal agencies implementing non-conventional energy programmes held at New Delhi today.
