The Rajkot Municipal Corporation had launched a project for drilling over 73 bores in and around the city of Rajkot for water in addition to the Wankaner pipeline project. The project was completed at a cost of Rs 8 crores recently and of the 73 bores drilled only 62 were yielded water.
