Rs 1028.349 m uplift schemes approved

The Punjab government on Wednesday approved two development schemes with an estimated cost of Rs 1028.349 million. These schemes were approved in the 24th meeting of Provincial Development working Party of current fiscal year 2013-14 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi, says P&D Spokesman. Provincial Secretary P&D Arif Anwar Baloch, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting. The approved development schemes included: Rehabilitation of Muzaffargarh Canal, District Muzaffargarh (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 364.81 million and Raising / Improvement of Lahore Sheikhupura Sargodha Road, km No. 83.32 to 109.11 length=25.79 Kms In District Hafizabad at the cost of Rs. 663.539 million.
