The first phase of Rs 181.94 crore 400 kv Kolhapur-Mapusa transmission line and 220 kv sub station will be operational in October 2002, one year ahead of the stipulated completion period thereby allowing Goa to draw additional 125 megawatts of power from Central power grid.
