The power ministry has proposed to constitute a Power Development Fund (PDF) with an initial corpus of Rs 750 crore for speedy implementation and execution of projects. The nodal ministry has already held discussions on the modus operandi for setting up this fund and is now in the process of giving finishing touches to it.
