Public Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra along with citizens visited the project site after water from Sindh river reached Ramsagar at Datia. The water from Sindh river has been brought to Ramsagar from Manikhera Dam over Sindh river, which is 145 kilometres away, at a cost of Rs. seven crore. After completion of the project, residents of Datia town will to get water from Sindh river regularly. Dr. Narottam Mishra had taken personal interest in the launch and completion of this project. Due to constant efforts by Dr. Mishra, drinking water requirements of Datia town will be fulfilled through Ramsagar.
