The growth of the Sough Asian economies is expected to accelerate to 5.4 per cent in 2003, primarily on the back of a strong Indian recovery, says a World Bank report published. The projection is based on the return to normal agricultural production, a recovery in external demand, and continued improvements in political stability and regional security.
