Traces indicating that liquid had leaked from five metal drums of radioactive waste sent to be buried underground at a low-level waste disposal center run by Japan Nuclear Fuel Ltd. In Rokkashomura, Aomori Prefecture, were found recently, leading the Science and Technology Agency to instruct the company to investigate the cause of the leaks.
