Give Capital cleaner fuel:The Supreme Court today directed the Centre to provide petrol with 0.05 per cent sulphur content from June and one per cent benzene content from October in the National Capital Region(NCR). Amicus curiae Harish Salve pointed out that there were around 30 lakh vehicles in the NCR and if the sulphur and benzene contents in petrol were not reduced there would not be any significant improvement in air quality.
