Six months have gone by since the West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency (WBREDA) celebrated the centenary of Sidrapong (3x200 kw) 'Heritage Power station' - the first hydel unit in Asia - but the scheme for renovation and modernisation of this landmark in the history of hydel power generation is yet to come out of the pile of files in the WBSEB, the implementing agency.
