Greenpeace activists protested today in front of the Siemen's headquarters in Munich against the company's plans to build a nuclear power plant in Turkey in an active earthquake zone. A group of 20 activists unfurled a banner outside the Sieman's building saying: "No nuclear power plant in Turkey" in both Turkish and German and set off sirens and sounds of earthquakes. Greenpeace is urging the company and its bidding rivals to withdraw from the Turkish tender to build a nuclear reactor.
