The 2002-03 Annual Plan for Sikkim was finalised today at Rs. 350 crores based on the identifiable resources. This will include additional central assistance of Rs. 10 crores-Rs. 3 crores for taking up survey for alternative national highway from Siliguri to Gangtok and Rs. 7 crores for VRS scheme.
