The air quality of Guiyang, the capital of southwest China's Guizhou Province, has been improved thanks to a Sino-British energy saving project, which is aimed at encouraging more industrial enterprises to enhance energy using efficiency and reducing pollution. Since the "Guizhou Energy Efficiency" project was initiated two years ago, the British Government has invested 1.57 million US dollars to help industrial enterprises in Guizhou to renovate production technology in a bid to save energy and reduce pollution.
