Smaller cities emerge as business favourites

A latest report "How are the Cities Doing" is an independent study by Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies director and noted economist Bibek Debroy and Indicus Analytics' Laveesh Bhandari for the Confederation of India Industry. The report ranked the urban centres lists smaller cities right on the top. Competing with new entrants in the metropolitans' club - Bangalore and Hyderabad - are smaller places like Ludhiana, Kochi, Coimbatore and Chandigarh.
