An eco-friendly solar photovoltaic (SPV) power plant was commissioned yesterday by Bharat Heavy Electricals in Mousumi island in West Bengal. The 55 KV SPV plant, the largest in the state, will provide grid quality power to 200 homesteads on the islands.
