Mr M. Kannappan, Union Minister for Non-Conventional Energy Sources, laid the foundation stone of a Rs 700 crore grid interactive solar photovoltic power plant and dedicated it to the memory of Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh at his ancestral village here today. On completion, it will be one of the largest projects of its kind in the country.
