Minister's call to experts: The Electricity Minister, Mr. Arcot N. Veerasamy, has appealed to experts all over the world to provide the techology for solar power generation to Tamil Nadu as the State had virtually exhausted the available thermal and hydro energy sources.Laying the foundation stone for a 106 MW Samayanallur diesel power project, being set up by the Balaji Power Corporation, at Paravai near here today, Mr. Veerasamy said Tamil Nadu "will welcome anybody from any country" to bring technology for solar power generation.
