A solar powered traffic umbrella, stated to be the first of its kind in South India was inaugurated outside the DGP's office on Nrupathunga Road by DG and IGP T Srinivasulu.It will provide the traffic police constable shelter and enable him to manage the traffic effectively during power failure. The solar powered umbrella is a project of Rainbow advertising.
