Pune, November 14 The National Commission for Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-nomadic Tribes set up by the Union Government has recommended Special Socio-economic Settlements Zones (SSZ) for nomadic tribes similar to the Special Economic Zones (SEZ) for the industry. The commission has also recommended 10 per cent reserved seats for denotified, nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes in the country in education, jobs and politics. The commission has suggested a ceiling on the maximum land to be given for the purpose and has sought an act to be passed to this effect, said Balkrishna Renake, chairman of the commission on Friday while talking to reporters.
