It is literally a battle for power in Andhra Pradesh. Whether free power should be given to farmers or not has become a major issue in the ongoing polls in the state. In a highly populist move, the Congress party has promised that if it is voted to power, power will be given free of cost to farmers and all their past dues would be waived.
