Maharashtra's energy and finance departments have vehemently opposed the state government's move to order a judicial probe into the Dabhol project deal, especially when the Centre is looking into the report submitted recently by the financial institutions on buying out Enron's equity in the project as also the completion of phase-II, saying "a judicial probe will discourage prospective bidders".
