With the Vilasrao Deshmukh government sanctioning wind energy projects of 334 MW, wind energy generation is set to achieve greater momentum in Maharashtra.The move is expected to bring in a four-fold increase in wind energy projects by December, 2001, and raise investments to a whopping Rs 2,100 crore.
