The Centre is planning an additional Rs 67-crore allocation to states under the Additional Central Assistance scheme to facilitate e-governance schemes. This would be part of the gross budgetary support (GBS) being earmarked for the implementation of the national common minimum programme in 2004-05. NCMP has recognised e-governance as a thrust area.
