The Planning Commission has approved a 50 per cent higher outlay at Rs 12,000 crore for Haryana's 10th Five Years Plan(2002-2007). This is more than what the state had hoped for. The highest allocation of 42.2 per cent is for the social services sector which covers education, healthcare, drinking water supply and pensions for the aged, the handicapped, widows and other destitutes.....Editorial
