Drinking tea will help in shielding against cancer-causing ultraviolet rays, according to scientists at a Government research centre in Australia. A team at the Human Nutirition department of Adelaide has found that mice, given tea rather than water, cut their changes ofdeveloping skin cancer by half in experiments where groups of tea-drinking and water-drinking mice were exposed to high levels of ultraviolet rays, according to an article in Planters Chronicle.
