The second meeting of task force on rural infrastructure, chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, scheduled for Thursday, is likely to see a lot of heated discussions during the presentations on development of rural roads and electrification. In the first meeting of the task force, which took place on May 15, an announcement for releasing Rs 1,74,000 crores for rural infrastructure was made.
