The Karnataka state government is to launch a separate task force for the development of infrastructure and other amenities in the North Karnataka region, on August 18 in Hubli. Drawing strength from the successful model of hte Bangalore Agenda Task Force (BATF)'s public-private sector partnership, the Government will draw plans to develop facilities in 22 towns of the region over a period with the key towns.
