The Telugu Desam Party (TDP), a key ally of the NDA, created ruckus in the Lok Sabha by storming into the Well twice demanding that construction of illegal dams across upper Thunga basin by the Karnataka Government be immediately stopped. The TDP which moved an adjourment motion in the Lok Sabha on the issue raised slogans demanding justice when their attempts to raise the issue failed because Congress-led Opposition was already in the Well demaning Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani's resignation.
