The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, has said that the party would identify backward areas for focussed development and allocate Rs 60,000 crore towards transformation of rural economy and usher in green revolution. Road maps for the overall development of backward areas would be prepared and special programmes taken up on the basis of the reports. This would mean the creation of a council for development of backward areas also, he said.
