TERI suggests ways to conserve energy in N-E

The Tata Energy Research Institute (TERI) said that the north-eastern region has a potential for saving energy by substituting traditional direct combustion bio-mass fuels with 'producer gas'. Traditional direct bio-mass fuels also include firewood and agro residues and 'producer gas' is the fuel derived from conversion of traditional fuels into gaseous form.
