Eighty percent work of Thado Dam, the first ever Dam being built in Sindh on Thado river at Gadap area near Karachi, has been completed and the rest of the work is expected to be over in a year. After the completion of the Thado Dam, which will have storage capacity of 17110 acre feet water with designed discharge of 16200 cusecs, the surrounding agricultural lands spread over 33730 acres, could be benefited.
