Thailand's national energy policy board is due later yesterday to consider a plan to raise the permitted levels of sulphur in diesel to try to reduce oil production costs. The plan would raise the sulphur content to 0.5 percent from the current 0.05 percent, said Industry Minister Suwat Liptapallop.
