Thaksin urges civil servants to dress down to save fuel

Thaksin Shinawatra Thailand's prime minister has called on his fellow countrymen to do their patriotic duty by taking off their dark jackets. The premier said tropical Thailand could significantly reduce its energy consumption if office workers would take off their suits so that they no longer required such powerful air conditioning to be comfortable on the job.
