Opposite the Narela market, a duct dug for laying telephone cables has been lying neglected for the past two months. The yellowish sewage water collected the duct is the main source of water for people within a three kilometres radius in the area. The water is visibly dirty, with sediments of waste floating on the surface. But the local people, thirsting for water in the height of summer, have ceased to care.
