Three nuclear plants received the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board's industrial safety awards at a function here. The units are the Heavy Water plant at Kota in Rajasthan, the Manavalakurichi plant of Indian Rare Earths Ltd located in Tamil Nadu's Kanyakumari district and the fast breeder test reactor of the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research at Kalpakkam near Chennai.
