The Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation's (TIDCO) proposal to put up two power projects with private sector participation, utilising municipal solide waste as fuel, is in the doldrums pending a polity decision from the Tamil Nadu Government, according to a private promoter.TIDCO had identified two power projects to be located at Kodungaiyur and Perungudi and six companies had been shortlisted for the projects.
